Lifestyle Block Insurance
Lifestyle block insurance is a policy designed to cover properties known as “lifestyle blocks” against loss. A lifestyle block typically refers to a large rural property primarily used for residential purposes rather than traditional agricultural activities.
Lifestyle block insurance covers the unique risks of owning and living on a lifestyle block. These risks may include damage to the property and structures, such as the house, outbuildings, fences and contents inside the buildings. It also offers protection against livestock, farming machinery, vehicles and other equipment from damage.
